Quantexa has secured a £175 million, 10-year partnership with HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) to modernise the UK tax authority’s data foundation and enable sovereign, governed AI at national scale. It ranks among the public sector’s largest Decision Intelligence deployments.
The programme gives HMRC a connected view of its data to improve performance, identify tax at risk and strengthen control. It also lays the groundwork for advanced AI, supporting everything from closing the tax gap to faster service for UK taxpayers.
The timing matters. Governments want to accelerate digital transformation without giving up sovereignty, auditability or control. Quantexa’s Decision Intelligence Platform answers that by unifying fragmented data into a governed foundation for analytics and safe AI deployment at scale.
“Governments around the world are facing a common challenge: how to turn complex, fragmented data into confident, timely decisions,” said Vishal Marria, Founder & CEO, Quantexa. “By creating context from data and embedding trusted, governed AI, we are helping HMRC improve how public sector organizations make confident, informed decisions. This is a blueprint for how the UK government deploys AI at scale.”
Quantexa works with public sector organisations worldwide on fraud, risk, compliance and data modernisation. Founded in 2016, the company has over 800 employees and tens of thousands of users globally.
