EY launches Managed Treasury Service powered by FIS technology

By Digital Trade OutlookJune 9, 2026
EY launches Managed Treasury Service powered by FIS technology

EY has launched a Managed Treasury Service (MTS) powered by FIS: outsourced, cloud-based treasury capabilities run by EY professionals on FIS technology. The pitch to finance leaders is simple, shift time from operations to outcomes.

MTS covers cash and liquidity management, payments, bank relationship administration, debt and capital management, cash forecasting, financial risk across FX, interest rates and commodities, intercompany activities, and advanced reporting.

The model targets a familiar bind. Sophisticated treasury operations are costly and complex to build in-house, especially for middle market organisations. Outsourcing the operational layer promises cost certainty, regulatory confidence and scalability, freeing internal teams for strategy.

“Middle market organizations can transform their treasury operations to prioritize value creation and be future ready, enhancing agility and resilience, with the launch of the EY Managed Treasury Service (MTS) powered by FIS,” said Ari Morris, EY Global Treasury Technology Leader. “Through this solution, clients have access to advanced technology, deep industry knowledge, proven methodologies and processes to better manage their treasury activities and focus on strategic growth.”

“Through our relationship with the EY organization, we’re bringing together FIS’ financial technology and EY treasury expertise to help organizations transform their treasury operations,” said JP James, FIS Group President, Office of the CFO. “This partnership helps unlock sophisticated treasury operations for businesses minus the cost and complexity of building them in-house, helping to accelerate growth in an ever-evolving financial landscape.”

The infrastructure scales quickly, with configuration options to fit individual clients. MTS sits within EY Finance Managed Services, the firm’s full-spectrum finance and back-office offering.

“This launch marks a significant milestone in our commitment to help companies unlock strategic value, streamline treasury operations and accelerate growth,” said Nikhil Lele, EY Americas Consulting Banking & Capital Markets Leader. “By teaming with FIS, clients gain access to cutting-edge technology, deep industry knowledge and a collaborative ecosystem, empowering them to shape a stronger financial future.”
