Beyon’s suppliers can now get paid early through a Supply Chain Finance programme run with Kuwait Finance House Bahrain (KFH Bahrain). The two companies activated it after signing an agreement at FinTech Forward 2026. It covers Beyon’s local and international suppliers, with SMEs as the main focus.
The programme runs on KFH Bahrain’s digital corporate banking platform, where buyers and suppliers handle every stage online, from starting a transaction to booking the deal. The bank says transactions are processed within minutes, and the platform includes automated reporting and analytics.
Suppliers can use early payment to manage working capital and cash flow instead of waiting for invoices to settle. Both companies said this should take pressure off smaller suppliers and make the wider supply chain more resilient, and they tied the programme to their ESG goals.
Mohamed Assem, Deputy Group CEO for Corporate Banking at KFH Bahrain, linked it to the bank’s push into digital transaction banking. “Expanding our SCF solutions supports greater financial inclusion for SMEs by providing easier access to working capital through digital financing options,” he said. He also pointed to the partnership as an example of how alliances can speed up digital adoption among Bahrain’s corporates and SMEs.
For Beyon, the gain sits on the payables side. Reem Altajer, Beyon Group Chief Financial Officer, said the programme should “streamline the payment cycle and boost transaction efficiency across our supplier ecosystem.” She added that automation and built in reporting make it easier to monitor transactions and track performance.
Digital Trade Outlook’s View: When the Buyer Carries the Load
Supply chain finance works best when the buyer does the heavy lifting, and that is the design here. Beyon gets automated payables and cleaner reporting. Its smaller suppliers get an early payment route anchored by a large buyer, something few of them could arrange alone. The open question is uptake. Neither side has said how large the programme is or how many suppliers it covers, so the real test is how many Beyon suppliers sign up and whether other Bahraini corporates follow.
