Eddid Financial, Ant Digital Technologies and SageRock Capital have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to build compliant green energy tokenisation products in Hong Kong.
Each party has a defined role. SageRock Capital handles investment structuring and asset integration. Eddid Financial brings its licensed capital markets and wealth management business. Ant Digital Technologies supplies the blockchain infrastructure through its Jovay and AntChain platforms, already in use across green energy, tokenisation, supply chain finance and cross-border trade.
The firms will work within the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission framework. The goal is to use blockchain traceability to make new energy assets easier to verify, finance and distribute returns from, three points where traditional energy project finance routinely breaks down.
Ant Digital opened its overseas headquarters in Hong Kong in April 2025 and has served more than 10,000 enterprise clients and over 300 ecosystem partners across Asia, Europe and the Middle East. It also operates EV charging networks, energy storage systems and distributed energy infrastructure, meaning it owns the type of assets this partnership intends to tokenise.
Eddid Financial holds SFC licences for regulated activities types 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 9, a FINRA-registered US broker-dealer and a Singapore entity licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
Hong Kong’s regulatory clarity on virtual assets and green finance is the basis for the venture. The wider aim is to connect traditional finance with digital asset markets through ESG-linked products.
