SOOHO.IO and Partior Partner to Connect Korean Financial Institutions to Live Global Settlement Rails

By Digital Trade OutlookAugust 26, 2026

SOOHO.IO, a leading innovator in digital financial infrastructure, and Partior, the live global settlement network for USD, SGD and EUR, have signed a memorandum of understanding that links Korea’s deposit-token infrastructure directly to global payment rails. Announced August 26, 2026 in Seoul, the deal will let Ezys, SOOHO.IO’s liquidity-aggregation platform, settle cross-border, multi-currency payments on Partior’s tokenised deposit network.

Ezys connects with multiple global financial institutions and automatically compares exchange rates and transaction terms to find the best route for each payment, then executes settlement on Partior and other global rails. Partior’s network is built to strip out the delays and hidden costs that come with routing payments through several correspondent banks, offering a faster, more transparent path for cross-border transfers. It’s designed to sit alongside existing correspondent chains rather than replace them, adding a real-time, lower-cost settlement option.

The partnership builds on SOOHO.IO’s experience with digital-currency infrastructure, including its work on Project Hangang, the Bank of Korea’s CBDC trial. It also draws on Partior’s live network, which already settles commercial cross-border volumes around the clock for globally systemically important banks across major currencies. Together, the companies want to give Korean institutions a direct route from their existing payment infrastructure into global markets.

“It is meaningful to enter into this partnership with Partior, a company that is rewriting the rules of global finance, on the basis of a deep technical and commercial alignment between us,” said Jisoo Park, CEO of SOOHO.IO. “Together with Partior and Korean commercial banks, we will complete a global financial pipeline that allows tokenised deposits to be cleared and settled as quickly and securely as possible within a rigorous compliance environment.”

“Korea is at the forefront of digital financial innovation, and we are excited to partner with SOOHO.IO to seamlessly connect its domestic ecosystem to global payment rails,” said Humphrey Valenbreder, CEO of Partior. “By connecting SOOHO.IO’s Ezys to a network already settling live commercial volumes across major currencies, we are demonstrating how Korean banks can plug into infrastructure that is operating today, not just a future roadmap. This extends our commitment to an interoperable ecosystem that optimises liquidity and lowers barriers to entry across global markets.”

Digital Trade Outlook: What matters here is what Ezys is plugging into: a live network already moving real volume for major banks, not a pilot. For Korean institutions, it’s a fast lane from domestic deposit-token infrastructure into global settlement, and an early foothold in tokenised cross-border payments rather than a wait-and-see position.
