RedotPay Receives Independent Big Four Review of Its AML/CFT Controls

By Digital Trade OutlookSeptember 8, 2026
    RedotPay

RedotPay says it has received an independent review of its Anti Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) controls, carried out by a Big Four accounting firm. The review covered RedotPay’s licensed Hong Kong subsidiaries, Red Dot Trust Limited and Red F. Technology Limited, and measured their AML/CFT processes against guidelines set by the Hong Kong Companies Registry.

It looked at the full compliance chain, governance, quality assurance, customer due diligence, transaction monitoring, and staff training and resourcing. RedotPay said the findings confirm its controls can identify, assess and manage financial crime risk, giving it a stronger foundation to offer services responsibly as stablecoin payments move further into the mainstream.

“All stablecoin payments firms have a solemn responsibility to operate with strong safeguards and clear accountability,” a RedotPay spokesperson said. “We welcome independent scrutiny because it helps us continuously assess and improve the controls that support our users, partners, and the broader payments ecosystem.”

The company called the review one step rather than a finish line, saying it will keep investing in its controls, working with regulators and partners, and staying transparent with its community as rules around stablecoins and digital payments continue to change.

Digital Trade Outlook: As stablecoin volumes grow, compliance credibility is becoming just as important a differentiator as speed or cost. A Big Four AML/CFT review gives a stablecoin firm a concrete way to show partners, banks and regulators it can meet the same risk standards as traditional financial institutions, which matters most in a sector still working to earn that trust.
