Aurionpro Secures INR 350 Crore Data Centre Mandate from Hyperscale Operator in India

Mumbai, India — March 13, 2026 — Aurionpro Solutions has won a multi-year contract from a hyperscale data centre operator to develop an AI-ready facility in India, marking the largest data centre order in the company’s history.

The project, valued at around INR 350 crore, comes as demand for high-capacity infrastructure accelerates alongside the rapid expansion of cloud computing and artificial intelligence workloads across the country.

    Building for AI-Driven, High-Density Workloads

The mandate covers the design, detailed engineering and end-to-end execution of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems for the facility. The data centre is being developed to support high-density computing environments, particularly those linked to AI and advanced digital applications.

For Aurionpro, the project represents its first deployment in the AI-ready data centre segment, placing it within a fast-evolving part of India’s digital infrastructure landscape.

The company will deliver the project using its in-house engineering capabilities, focusing on mission-critical infrastructure where reliability and scalability are key.

Demand Surge Reshaping India’s Data Centre Market

India’s data centre market is expanding rapidly, driven by rising data consumption, enterprise digitisation and continued investment from global hyperscale operators.

Capacity reached an estimated 1.5 GW in 2025 and is expected to approach 2 GW by the end of 2026, according to industry projections. The shift towards AI-led workloads is further intensifying demand for facilities that can handle higher power densities and more complex processing requirements.

This is also prompting a move towards more energy-efficient and scalable infrastructure, as operators look to future-proof their capacity.

    Strengthening Position in Mission-Critical Infrastructure

The contract strengthens Aurionpro’s presence in the mission-critical infrastructure segment, where demand is being driven by cloud providers, technology firms and digital platforms scaling operations in India.

The company operates across multiple sectors including banking, payments, mobility and government, and has been expanding its role in infrastructure linked to digital ecosystems.

    Digital Trade Outlook Analysis
The deal highlights how data centres are becoming foundational to digital trade, supporting everything from cloud services to cross-border data flows. As India builds out AI and cloud capacity at scale, infrastructure players such as Aurionpro are positioning themselves at the core of the country’s digital economy expansion.
