BRAC Bank Goes Live With Finastra and Conpend Trade Finance Technology

By Digital Trade OutlookOctober 25, 2026
BRAC Bank and Finastra trade finance announcement

BRAC Bank has gone live with Finastra’s Trade Innovation and Corporate Channels, alongside Conpend’s Trade AI solutions, according to an October 21 announcement.

The implementation connects trade finance processing with corporate customer services, replacing fragmented processes and supporting greater straight-through processing.

Corporate clients can use a single channel to initiate requests, collaborate securely, approve transactions and track progress in real time.

The platform supports evolving industry standards, including ISO 20022 and Swift SR2026 requirements. Its architecture also allows the bank to expand capabilities and accommodate growing transaction volumes.

“This implementation marks an important milestone in our trade finance transformation,” said Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, Managing Director and CEO of BRAC Bank PLC.

    Digital Trade Outlook’s View

The deployment connects the customer’s instructions, approvals and transaction tracking with the bank’s trade processing. That combination addresses both sides of the workflow: how clients access trade services and how the bank handles their requests. The announcement describes an operating implementation rather than a planned technology selection.
